Announcing embeddable NFTs

by Devin Finzer

Looking for a nice way to display collectibles, tickets, game items, or digital art on a web page? You can now embed an NFT directly in your blog, Medium post, or website! Here’s how it looks:

To embed an NFT, simply go to the NFT on OpenSea (for example, this Formula 1 racing car) and click the “share” button in the upper right corner. Then select “Embed Asset”. A popup will appear with an embed code. Copy and paste the embed code into your website.

Customize the look and feel of your embed

Our open source embeddable NFT repo, built using the OpenSea SDK, provides a bunch of options for customizing the display style of your NFT. If you have more input on what other features you’d like to see for embeddable NFTs, check out our suggestions page.

Calling all bloggers and website owners

We want to make NFTs feel native to the internet, so we’re calling all bloggers to make creative use of embeddable NFTs. Perhaps a post with your favorite NFT art, your own branded collectibles embedded directly in your blog, or maybe even a purchaseable NFT ticket? The possibilities are endless.
