As an artist with a passion for marine biology, Lea has a very close relationship with nature and its inhabitants. So close, that all her motifs always originate from the sea. This time is no exception: the young talent creates a unique NFA for the protection of the vaquitas. These shy mammals live exclusively in the Gulf of Mexico and keep their distance from boats of all kinds. And yet, humans continue to be their undoing as our fishing nets turn them into unwanted bycatch. To prevent their extinction, we must act now to ban illegal fishing and gillnets.
