Bonsai is a new way to Q&A.

Question:

Now that I've heard your music, I want to know the story behind the song you sent me. 🤯...

Answer:

the song I sent You is titled Stop Talking. Um I wrongfully assumed that me sharing my music with you is going to stay between us, but that's okay. Let's keep it moving. Um But stop talking. Was a song that I co wrote back in my high school days. My frequent collaborator, R J A K D J R J. Um And thematically, I think the song has this kind of angel devil vibe to it. DJ RJ's character on one hand um is the aggressor of the duo. His character is dealing with a love interest um that he's ready to part ways from that. He's ready to say goodbye to and you hear some sort of kind of darkness radiate from him. But there's also a confidence in how he will be without his partner moving forward. Um and a confidence in the separation. Whereas my character is really on the on the softer side, less aggressive, more reflective and more almost reassuring. Um hoping to patch things up, you know, during this rocky moment of of of of of his love life. Um But this is uh this is grade a content and and and high school songwriting so, appreciate the inquiries from all the real ones
