“Not firm but likely to fall or change suddenly” - Cambridge Dictionary
The series began in 2020 as a response to the global pandemic, which was a great challenge to artists. Losing all your work and feeling a distinct lack of direction and purpose. It’s turned our life and the world upside down. Unbalanced was a creative lifeline for The Huxleys. It was a way for them to channel the inner fears and frustrations they were facing and put them into their art.
