I created this #1 of 1 NFT image, Names etched into history, using AI generative art tool, Conjure.art. I used a line from my thriller novel, Valley of Dry Bones, about St Louis No 1 Cemetery in New Orleans, combined with one of my images from a research trip to the city.

I used the following quote from Valley of Dry Bones for the text prompt: “The stone tombs housed the dead from the great families of the past, names etched into history as witness to the changing city. Some carvings had faded with time, the edges of tombs crumbling as the grey stone weathered away.” I used one of my photos from St Louis No. 1 Cemetery in New Orleans as an image prompt.

My thriller Valley of Dry Bones opens with the discovery of a crypt buried deep beneath the St Louis No 1 cemetery in New Orleans. In the crypt is an altar, surrounded by the bones of sacrifice — but the box is empty. The Hand of Ezekiel is missing, but the hunt is on to find it.

I visited New Orleans in 2017 on a book research trip and the St Louis Bible in the cathedral inspired me to look deeper into the history of the French and the Spanish in the city.

The unlockable content is a special ebook edition of my ARKANE thriller, Valley of Dry Bones.
