Ice and cold wind gives way to the waters that filled your city. You have a hard time getting over it, water often tries to stop you, flood your streets, break your plans. But the expectation of warmth gives you a lot of strength and hope, it seems that there is just a little bit left to wait.
Year of love is a collection of 12 photos united by an idea of the feeling of love that we carry through hours, months and years. Each photo shows a certain month of the year while its content matches to my mood and vision of this season.
The photos were created over several years. The first one named "June" was created in summer 2018. The last one named "January" was made in January 2022 — then the collection was completed.
In my view, the selected photos perfectly combine people, their feelings and the environment. The photos were taken in Russia, Nizhny Novgorod. Everyone who buys one of the works into his collection, gets an attached version of this work in the form of a postcard with a signed month, as well as the photo itself without any inscriptions.
