There is a funny story behind this photo, I was trying to get a photo with the lizard's tongue out so you could see how the iconic Australian lizard gets it's name but this lizard just wouldn't do as it was told! While I was looking through the lens of my camera waiting for that moment... suddenly the lizard charged at me! LOL I left the poor thing alone after that. I still managed to capture this gorgeous image before the attack. Next time though I promise I will capture the tongue flick!
This collection is called 'Natures Artworks' because I give nature most of the credit for these beautiful creations. As a photographer I simply choose which subjects and from which perspective I capture natures beauty. All photos of this collection were taken in Australia using my Nikon D5600 camera.
