"La storia di Argiano è una storia antica. Le sue radici, come cantina, risalgono al 1580. Oggi, grazie al proprietario, l’arte rinascimentale ha trovato di nuovo nel castello una casa accogliente, uno scrigno prezioso. Per questo ho pensato di usare una tecnica, la sanguigna, che richiami la stagione gloriosa del disegno cinquecentesco, i grandi maestri italiani, l’arte della Toscana. Traslata nel tratto digitale. E ho scelto la foglia del Sangiovese come medium grafico per raccontare il lavoro dell’uomo sulla vite, la forza della natura, il sole, l’acqua, la fotosintesi. Ma la terra di Argiano racconta un’era ancora più remota, quando la Vigna del Suolo era ricoperta dagli oceani. I fossili sono ancora lì a testimoniarlo. Come le ammoniti, conchiglie divenute pietra con la loro forma a spirale che è poi la stessa del bellissimo pozzo del castello dove sono raccolti i Brunelli più preziosi. Il cuore della tenuta.
