The VooDAO concept began as a spitballing for ideas of how to make a classic tattoo design that dealt with the Cryptocurrency world and still held my personal love of creepy stuff.

The project originated with JENetics coming up with the idea for HODL FAST, a mermaid hugging an anchor that had symbols of ETH and Bitcoin while a kracken took down a ship of Fiat. The tattoo style was really cool and we tried to come up with a way to make a cooperative project with the Power Girls who were interested in joining to make a collection between us. I created 5 initial sketches while working on coming up with my project idea and wound up starting a whole new set for myself that didn’t just stick with the tattoo style.

"What is This Voodoo?" is a piece that depicts the potentially volatile nature of crypto and especially Aave (shown as the little ghost between his hands). The priest is lit by the glow of potential, but is also surrounded by the souls of those who've lost their shirts!

Speaking of shirts.... this NFT comes with a shirt! Click the link in the unlockable content to get your unique coupon code to get the shirt from https://ultrasoundmerch.com
