Inspired by the short story "Swipe and Prejudice" by Lil Diamond Smith depicts a woman struggling to navigate the process of her objectification and her objectification of possible suitors. The bird motifs represent messages, one being white and the other black depending upon the emotional temperature of her response. it is imbued with an obvious feeling of isolation, alienation, silence, and mystique. Lighting, whether organic or synthetic, is essential in creating an atmosphere. It is an artwork that we now associate with sorrow and alienation. This artwork is featured in Lil Diamond Smith's Book "Futurist: Silicon Valley Edition." available on Amazon and Apple.
Inspired by the 2022 poem of the same name by Lil Diamond Smith. The artwork portrays deftly drawn characters and caricatures, surprising comical delights amid the backdrop of the hustle of New York life. Using a range of approaches from expressionism to psychotropic nightmare fantasy, this collection evokes the essential humanity, well hidden as it is, of their generally ambitious, disillusioned, desperate characters who are trying to survive in a city that becomes increasingly more demanding. The collection specialises particularly in revealing the illusions about advanced digital life―a museum attacked by drones, a financier stressed to the point of fury and the statue of liberty circled by drones.
