*"Gift for a King" is Stacey Mayer’s hallmark illustration from the "Peacemaker King" feature on her website AWhiteHorse.com™, in honor of King Hussein of Jordan. King Hussein bin Talal was the King of Jordan from 1952 until his death in 1999. He became known around the world as, "The Peacemaker King".
Stacey Mayer's digital 1999 drawing, the "Gift for a King" was subsequently used in fundraising efforts to purchase plastic horseshoes for the horses bringing tourists up and down the rocky road from the ruins of Petra, Jordan.
Stacey's illustration was debuted on AWhiteHorse.com™ Free Online Coloring book in 1999. Her coloring book site was established in 1996. The website was subsequently awarded the three-star Gulf Palace Award.
