“FAUX PAS” is a French expression that means a significant mistake and error.

Today, the prospect of nuclear weapons use is greater than any time since the Cuban missile crisis of 1962. All nuclear powers and aspirants are expanding their missile capabilities. This increasing nuclearization around the world is putting a huge pressure on the much needed global peace. We are now living in a totally new era because everyday we receive threats of doom from cynical dictators. All democratic leaders concluded that a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought. But the real question is : “do the dictators who possess the greatest nuclear arsenal agree with this conclusion?” It’s a troubling question with no real answer. If a dictator opts for the nuclear war, he will not have time to realize and regret the enormity of his FAUX PAS.

What is projection? Basically, it is about your relationships with others. Projection occurs when YOU (unconsciously) take negative emotions you don’t like about yourself and ascribe them to someone else. It is pure Self-defense. Projection protects you from having to acknowledge parts of yourself that you don’t like. Therefore we are more comfortable seeing negative traits in others rather than in ourselves.
