A few years ago, some divers noticed a beautiful, strange circular pattern on the seafloor near Japan. Nobody knew what made these mysterious geometric formations .

A few years later, studies showed that a fish made the ornate circles. Males laboriously flap their fins as they swim along the seafloor to create these amazing circular patterns. When the circles are finished, females come to inspect them and if they like what they see, they reproduce with the males. The beautiful MYSTERY is that nobody knows exactly what the females are looking for in these circles or what traits they find desirable.

What is projection? Basically, it is about your relationships with others. Projection occurs when YOU (unconsciously) take negative emotions you don’t like about yourself and ascribe them to someone else. It is pure Self-defense. Projection protects you from having to acknowledge parts of yourself that you don’t like. Therefore we are more comfortable seeing negative traits in others rather than in ourselves.
