This is another of Michelle’s paintings produced from memory of standing in a house facing the Viñales Valley. This majestic valley is home to tobacco harvesting, which is also beautifully abutted by rows of palm trees. The mountain formations depicted herein, which contain many caves, are over nine hundred feet high. Michelle conveys her admiration of this singular place in her native Cuba via the vastness of the overall landscape, down to the bricks surrounding the window; through which she was viewing this awe-inspiring scenery.

This is a 1/1 NFT of the original 24" x 36" inch oil painting.

Michelle's paintings are currently being shown at the Millennium Gate Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. Michelle's exhibition debuted on the 26th of June 2021 and will continue for the following months.

On the same day that Michelle's artworks debuted, the Cuban community of Atlanta came together at the Millennium Gate Museum to celebrate liberty for Cuba. This day was officially declared José Martí Day by the governor of Georgia. During this event, a statue of José Martí was revealed by the Martí Historical Society, Inc. with well-known guests Andy García and Enrique Chia. We hope this statue serves as a symbol representing hope for a free Cuba, and not just Cuba, but in all places... As if a signal fire from God declared to us what was to come for Cuba on July 11th, 2021.

Michelle's art reminds us of the light of this world. Taking us through the sacred hallway to the sea that sets us free. Michelle's art now walks the seas of OpenSea with NFTs of her oil paintings.
