The Human Trust Foundation is an environmental impact charity and investment vehicle, dedicated to catalyzing a movement in regenerative finance, leveraging impact investment and our Donor Advised Fund, to make it easier for individuals, businesses, and investors to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity, and help reforestation and ocean clean up efforts around the world.

THE PROBLEM For decades big chemical companies have dumped harmful pesticides into the soil of the Hawaiian Islands, causing local people to get sick and have put the water sheds at risk. Now farmers find it hard to grow crops because the quality of the soil is poor. We aim to heal the soil of the Hawaiian Islands.

THE SOLUTION Hemp grows like a weed. Because it is WEED. But our partners are proven masters of growing industrial hemp at scale and have even developed a patented microbial tea that brings the soil back to life. This technology feeds the soil so that the bugs don't need to eat the plants because the soil is so rich with nutrients!

In 3 growing cycles we will be able to restore the soil back to health while creating an industrial hemp industry in Hawaii that will help the island become more self-sustained. Currently Hawaii imports 90% of its resources. With the building materials created from these seeds planted we will be able to build a community education center and educate the next generation of young farmers to grow hemp building materials along with thousands of other products. Once the soil has been remediated to a healthy state, we will then be able to grow more biodiverse plant species that can be safely consumed.

Our trusted hemp growing partners are the best in the world. In addition to patents, their robotics company builds their own machines to harvest and process all the materials into products which can be sold, which validates the long term sustainability of the operation. As the advisory committee, Human Trust Foundation will maintain a role in this project and will support in the process of developing the school.

What happens when you sell your NFTree? The holder of this NFTree has the freedom to use their royalties as they wish. With royalties allocated to the Human Trust Foundation half will go into the NFTree Trust and half to the Foundation for the further expansion of this mission.

STRATEGIC INITIATIVES We are aligning our efforts with the UN 4 parts per million initiative. Human activities release enormous quantities of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This intensifies the greenhouse effect and accelerates climate change. The world soil contains 2 to 3 times more carbon than the atmosphere. Increasing this storage of carbon by 4 parts per 1000 in the top 30 or 40cm of the soil could stop the increase of CO2 in the atmosphere. This is the proposal of the "4 parts for 1000, soils for food security and climate".

OUR IMPACT Hemp plants can grow up to 15 feet deep into the soil and data has proven that hemp is capable of cleaning the soil, as was demonstrated in Hiroshima Japan where hemp was used to clean up toxic nuclear waste from the soil. The Human Trust Foundation NFTree Initiative aims to assist in achieving this goal.

Regarding the atmosphere, on average, an acre of hemp sequesters about 11,000 pounds of CO2 throughout photosynthesis during its growth cycle. With this campaign we will be farming on 1000 acres for one year, resulting in 11,000,000 pounds of CO2 (our total target goal).
