Ape #008 was kind of a tough challenge. I wanted to have a look like the portraits of Louis Janmot but also with a noir atmosphere. This made the initial image a bit challenging but I am really satisfied with the general composition.
This collection is created to have a different take on the ape mania going on over the NFT space and create noir-looking ape portraits. Images are created with an altered version of CLIP-guided GAN algorithms using initial images with final touches in Photoshop.
It will be a 100 piece collection, all pieces are going to be minted as 5 copies to have a feeling of collectibles.

Ape Noir is started to generate unique Ape portraits, with a variety of styles, for the metaverse. As a hot topic, the idea is to create a collaboration between man and machine, evolving an image as a hereditary variation of a human artifact.
A long term project, with a backstory for each unique ape and a lore generation of the world "the Hegemony".
Each piece will have a wildcard character (*) which indicates a lore element with a dictionary definition that comes with the unlockable content.
