Cubist portrait. Lester Joseph Gillis, known under the pseudonym George Nelson, was a bank robber and murderer in the 1930s. Nelson was responsible for the murder of several people, and has the dubious distinction of having killed more FBI agents in the line of duty than any other person. He was shot by FBI agents and died after a shootout often termed the "Battle of Barrington"
True Crime: This collection of artistic portraits of offenders --across all manifestations of crime-- crafted in geometric/cubist lines aims to express and channel my interest in the psychology of criminal minds but in no way does it endorse their despicable and evil deeds. Starting with the prohibition era in the US, the collection will include also selected criminals outside the US. Credits to FBI and other Law Enforcement Agencies for source material used. Each portrait will be limited to 100 NFTs.
