"La Porte de l'Orient" (the East Gate), David Soussana's sculpture installed in Marseille (France) in 1985, is subject to an audiovisual experimentation where the passersby and the sun play a major role. The alteration of temporality and the sonority directly related to the brightness of the image contribute to confer a new reality to this urban artwork.
