A nostalgic photo from 2007, taken with a mini camera by myself, shows the 9 Eylul ferry built on Alaybey Shipyard in Turkey, 1976. The name "9 Eylul" points the Liberation of İzmir in 1922. It had worked on the coast of İzmir all of it's lifetime with her sister ship (named Alaybey) After working nearly 40 years, it had been sunk controlled for creating an artifical reef for fishes.
