My dad used to bring home tubs of paint and odd rolls of wallpaper. His hardware store was full of art and craft supplies. From paint rollers and brushes of all sizes and shape, to wood glue and masking tape and wallpaper paste. I was always fascinated by the patterns and shapes on these stylised rolls. But what most amazed me was all the different colours in the paint cans on the shelves. My favourite thing was to watch him mix the primary’s into a neutral base to make any colour you can imagine. These abstract paintings are dedicated to my father and all the colours in the cans. Each painting is signed uniquely and all are 1 of 1 originals
