To be honest with you, I just thought of some lofty concept and said my art was about it, even though it doesn't necessarily have to do with it contentwise. I knew someone would say "ah, ok" if I said "This is about the universe" or something like that. But anything that you make that's abstract, you can find a way, in your head, to make it have to do with an idea you're thinking about.. it's the way abstract art works. Abstract artists get a lot of freedom. It's kind of fun, honestly. But I do get why people get all hot and bothered about it. In the future, I'll try to make art that genuinely relates to the idea I say it does. For now, well, this kind of does.. please forgive me.
