The letter from: Valeria Vahorovska, Fondy group of companies, Founder, CEO. This token was created in Kyiv as part of the The Long Game, a project for young entrepreneurs, in December 2021. The project’s participants, representatives from business, education, media and the state, came together to record in the NFT their thoughts on the challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs in our time, as well on the dreams, forecasts and intentions for the future development of business 10 years from today.
At the end of 2020, when the global market was still in the thick of the quarantine associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the team behind the Fondy international payment platform initiated an educational project in Ukraine for young entrepreneurs called The Long Game (Ukr.: Гра в довгу). This online marathon, which brought together approximately 3,400 people, was supported by the Kyiv School of Economics and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the Diia.Business portal.
On December 21 2021, the project’s participants gathered to record their reflections in NFT tokens on the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship and to store them for 10 years. We chose to use NFT tokens not for the purpose of enrichment, but to record and preserve our thoughts, forecasts and dreams for the future in the most independent way currently available – in a distributed blockchain network – and to return to them in 10 years time.
