Shark Attack NFT is a a reimagined piece taken from an ad campaign I created for Save the Sharks from Shark Fin Soup, PangeaSeed/Peta highlighting Shark Week. The piece is made up of real world photographs using a real murder scene and Tokyo forensic CSI, all shot in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan, in 2008. For the campaign I removed the victims outline, out of respect for the 8 souls, then I composited the shark outline as the murder victim. This piece reflects the senseless murder of both the Sharks and the citizens. The title Shark Attack is the reverse meaning of the term and the poignant work is rereleased for Earth Day 2021. It is a combination of a composite of photographs taken on RED camera, 3D elements and Photoshop techniques. The final piece was a successful and impactful campaign and the actual 36 inch print was bought by and displayed at Ogilvy and Mather agency Tokyo Japan.
