Delicious bagel smell on entry. A small, square store that pairs classic deli and bagel store elements. Lightning fast staff with a checklist ticket system similar to a sub shop. Lots of spread variety and appetizing bagel hopper display. Moderate drink selection, plastic wrapped pastries. Hot 97 plays on the radio. An overall air of good hustle.

Extra large bagel - a big, tall, thick boy. Practically no central hole from all its puff. Two-sided, light topping density of standard composition. Good salt ratio for what's there, both in crystal form and brined into the shell. An extra soft, doughy bite in a way that suggests freshness. Very strong bagel fundamentals more than cover for the limited topping play.

Cream Cheese
Served cold, reinforcing an already thick texture. Nine out of ten times this is an issue, but when handled correctly cream cheese served cold can be very refreshing. This is one of those rare occasions. A mountainous amount provided and even application. Very limited involvement of scallion, not missed but noted.
