Personally designed by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, The Glass Suit was inspired by a unique shared dream that the designers had, which gave birth to the suit and two dresses. This spectacular piece of wearable, sculptural art took thousands of hours to create by hand across both the physical and digital versions. The physical suit involved eight different seamstresses working across more than 3 months.
Created as an exclusive partnership between Dolce&Gabbana and UNXD, Collezione Genesi was first revealed in Summer 2021 at the Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda couture event in the world’s most unique city: Venice.
This 9-piece, one-of-a-kind collection was personally designed by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana exclusively for UNXD. It features entirely hand-made, museum-grade items across Alta Moda (women), Alta Sartoria (men), and Alta Gioielleria (high jewelry).
