A pointillistic portrait of Kiko Mizuhara, composited from 4 existing photographs, 500 x 500 pixels, every pixel enlarged to 4 pixels.
I wanted to make a composited picture of separate images without losing any sharpness and brilliance of the original images. I wanted to make an image that resembles an image in your mind, as you remember it; not as sharp and detailed as the original image, but immediately recognisable.
The resized images in the thumbnails and previews sometimes show a blurred and moire pattern that is not visible in the full sized artwork: the pixels are distinct absolute squares of color, working together to produce the resulting crisp image.
