The ocean floor on our planet is about 80% completely unknown. That is why underwater worlds are so fascinating.
The picture “Aquarium” was originally an acrylic painting on canvas. It was digitized so that every little fish, every plant, every stone, and the air bubbles were redrawn and placed on separate layers. This way, everything had the necessary freedom of movement. Now, everything could move independently of the background and be animated. It took a long process to separate each detail and bring it to life “by hand” with animation software.
AI was not involved 😊 Painting on canvas and wood has always been my passion. Recently, I have shifted my passion to the digital realm. I use photos of my paintings as a base and layer each detail of the image. This is how the digital image is created. Then, I can animate the individual layers. I have studied this procedure for months and am fully passionate about it.
I love nature and our surroundings. My preference remains typical city views and landscapes in the pop art style. Next, I will present my series on the Loreley, a famous legendary figure from the Rhine.
