Rick Fantom was born on the streets, causing problems since he was a child in school. He was always smaller than the other kids, so he was always going out of his way to try to prove he could keep up with them. As he grew up, and cybernetics became available, he started to work to replace his weak and small body parts with strong robotic pieces. Once he had enough strength to keep up with his peers, the power went to his head – he began to pick on those weaker than him, earning the nickname “Fantom Thug”.
When he joined the Gangsters faction, Gang Boss Jason saw that he had a chip on his shoulder and decided to take him under his wing, showing him that power doesn’t need to be used for hurting others, but should be used to help people get ahead in life instead. Rick cherished Jason’s way of life, and now uses his cybernetic body to help protect the streets from the Warlords.
In the early days of The Great Oracle War around 2075, while civilization was still breaking down, “The Entity” traveled from the future back in time and opened a wormhole inside the base of the largest militia, breaking into the private quarters of the leader. Indestructible to the base’s defensive attacks, he offered the militia advanced technology in exchange for cooperation in controlling the human race. The Warlord, leader of the militia, became one of the fiercest warriors on the planet, literally overnight. With powerful weaponry, government allies, control over the drug, human, and weapon trades, and countless soldiers at her control, victory seemed all but guaranteed...
