Painting B – This evidence was submitted by Radiosolace. For the purposes of this investigation, this painting shall be known as ‘Vessel’. Unfortunately we have no information about who created such a piece, its original title - or why it was commissioned.

A brief description for the record: Oil painting, cracked surface and frame in poor condition – suggestive that this was discarded after completion. There is no evidence of attempted destruction – but one has to wonder if the owner was ashamed of the contents - or perhaps keen to keep it hidden.

Curiously the subject itself also seems to point to neglect or disregard. We see a fully formed joint of meat in a glass jar. There is some manner of liquid suspension, perhaps a feeding or cleansing system. Strangely though, the jar itself is stained and dusty, and there are cobwebs hanging from the incoming tubes.

The room is sparse and cold, and a single rose, dessicated by time but holding its form lies on the table.

Why is the meat itself perfectly healthy whilst all around ages and withers? Has the experiment been forgotten or disregarded? Is this the work of Cockaigne, or another hitherto unknown player?
