Hurricane-Category 4 Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana. Even before the hurricane made landfall, WCK’s Relief Team was on the ground, setting up a quick sandwich line and preparing for hot meal production as soon as it was safe. Beginning with lunch the day after the storm passed, the WCK team served hot plates to first responders, shelters, and impacted neighbourhoods in New Orleans and the surrounding area.
