I am Markus Gley, born in 1980 in Greifswald, Germany. I studied art at the University of the Arts (UDK) in Berlin under Georg Baselitz and Burkhard Held, where I graduated as a master student from Held's class. My art is highly extroverted, and I quickly developed a distinctive, memorable style. My works explore self-portraits, the human condition, and the essence of nature.
