The Nyhavn Canal of Copenhagen was built from 1670 to 1675 under the rule of King Christian V, as a way to access the old inner city from the sea. It does not only offer some of the best views in Denmark, the canal district itself is spectacular. It is lined with bars and restaurants and in warm weather, the outdoor seating and waterfront restaurants can get crowded.
Using the IPFS technology, Etherland is connecting physical real estate and world places' data with a digital layer built on the Ethereum Blockchain. This virtual layer, or Etherland's Earth Metaverse, is displaying unique identity tokens for every real estate and place on Earth in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens named "Land ID".
Each NFT representing a real place, also grants owners the control over the information linked to their token and stored on the IPFS network. Anyone is free to contribute in building the Etherland's World Metaverse.
