Beneath the Rosenlaui glacier in the Bernese alps one can explore thundering waterfalls, romantic grottos and bizarre cliff formations shaped by the power of water and forming a piece of natural art by itself, the Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge. After climbing down a steep hill of ancient mountain forest terrain this remarkable spot can be reached crossing the glacial river balancing on slippery rocks. If one is receptive, at golden hour the majestic vista towards the "Engelhörner" (engl.: angel horns) mountain range may illuminates with a spotlight through the forest to the glacier waterfall.
