The Forgotten World: Poland from 1974 to 1981. As a young man of just 15 years old, I set out with my Russian Zenit camera to explore communist Poland. Through my camera, I saw a world that was shaped by communist ideology and the influence of the Soviet Union. It was a time when many people in Poland struggled with limitations and difficulties, but despite it all, there was a certain sense of unity and optimism in the population. People held together and fought together for a better future. I still remember the darkroom where I developed and enlarged my photos. It was a long and arduous process, but the work was worth it. Each image became a part of my memories and my personal history.
