COLOR STUDY I is an original oil painting by artist Alex (amac) Maceda. COLOR STUDY I was done color study for the BLOOM series, a series of paintings started in Joshua Tree, California during October 2020.
In it, amac explores how different colors and marks interact -- the painting is an exploration of the marks and blending that came to define the BLOOM series.
BLOOM is the first ever NFT collection by abstract artist Alex (amac) Maceda. The collection was minted between March - October 2021 and is now complete, and no new works will be added.
Eight pieces at 0.1eth were released in October 2021 in conjunction with her article, 'The Case for Fine Art NFTs' (https://amac.substack.com/p/the-case-for-fine-art-nfts). No 1/1s will ever be released at this price going forward.
From May 11, 2021 to May 11 2022, amac will also be releasing daily #desertminis, 1/1 watercolors based on her first year in the desert: https://opensea.io/collection/desert-minis
