Magnis Kingsblade is a decorated warrior. He had risen from sergeant to general within a few short years, thanks to his service during the dark war against the Mad King Sargis. Known as the Lion of the Frozen Lake, he was trained in battle by the Knights of the Frost Blade to use his strength against the brutal invasions of the free people.
Magnis had the makings of a great man and proved valiant in battle. He possessed both wisdom and a gentle heart away from war. His bloodline was one of Queens, Kings, and warriors who had once united all of humankind under a single, peaceful and prosperous empire.
Magnis died at the end of the final war in a blaze of glory by the Mad King himself, having accomplished more heroism in his great sacrifice than most men could ever dream. His heroism inspired his people to defeat the King in the end, with his father Morgis grabbing the sword from his son's lifeless hand and slaying the Mad King with it.
The sword that killed the Mad King was re-named the Kingsblade to honor Magnis and his father.
