At age 41, I became a trucker in order to make this book (200 pages with 145 images). I spent a full year on the American highway (2019-2020) to complete the shoot. All photography (6x6) and text (typewritten) is analog.

Wrung from the cold sweat of white line fever dreams, what follows is a message to the future. This is preemptive paleontology for the benefit of those who will only know the age of combustion from legend. Part dinosaur safari, part nomadic pilgrimage, it honors the beasts that once dominated our landscape and maps the unique brand of solitude that could only be found while living in their midst.
