Water can carry a boat and it can capsize it. In the same way, words have the same power - they can be sensuously provoking and moving, but can also destroy hearts. Sometimes, with just a slight shift in order or placement, the meaning of a phrase is completely altered.

This Lost in Translation series utilises English and traditional Chinese as the creative medium, where each language depicts completely different scenarios and viewpoints, to challenge the inherent concepts and perceptions of audiences who are bilingual in the two languages or fluent in only one to break up normalised expectations. Juxtaposing one positive with one negative short sentence in the two languages creates the result of intriguing new meanings that are humorous, damning and always witty.

水能載舟，亦能覆舟。文字也具有同等力量，既可溫婉動人，亦可催毀人心。看似些微的字眼調動和改變，能瞬間將意義巔倒。

「對．逆系列」以英語和繁體中文為創作語言，各自描寫迥然不同的情景和立場，挑戰精通雙語或只流利其中一種語言的受眾的固有觀念和認知，打破「意料之內」的上文下理思路發展，以一正一負的短句來營造耐人尋味的反差，嬉笑怒罵，妙趣橫生。
