“All Day I Dream About Dick (ADIDAD)” is a self-portrait I started in the summer of 2021 and finished in early winter 2022. It features the Dickspo dick template, created by Toppy Eton, and used with her permission. “ADIDAD” depicts me, sitting on my daybed, listening to rap, smoking weed out of a bong, and dreaming about my Daddy’s dick, as indicated by the silver glitter jizz, which was also featured in my previous Dickspo piece, “Dream Daddy”. The silver glitter jizz indicates my Daddy with a capital D because he is 59, has silver hair, and shines pretty bright in my world.

The duvet, the daybed, the bong, and the headphones, are all objects I own and use. The polar bear pajama pants are based on a pair of Paul Frank pajama pants I owned and loved in the late ‘90s, and the glasses are the same colour as the ones I currently wear every day.

I grew and photographed the cannabis leaves and buds used in the wallpaper, then I turned them into digital collage assets, which was my first time using that technique, and they may appear in future work.

“ADIDAD” is a template in itself, in that anything could be put in the thought bubble, and the last letter of the famous “ADIDAS” (“All Day I Dream About Sex”) acronym from the ‘80s could also be anything.
