Ayshia Taskin [ a y s h ] is an Intermedia artist who merges high and lo-tech methods to create physical and performative latex-y sculptural forms, digital artworks using 3D, glitch and live performance. She is obsessed with the body in its many fleshy and non-fleshy forms, mythology, symbolism, futurism and deconstructing ancient things. She is a cultural and creative nomad excited about exploration within her Intermedia art practice.

V.alpha is a collection of work which merges my paintings from 2012 with digital techniques from 2021. I have an obsession with certain numbers/combinations and waited until 2021 to combine the 2012 works. 20122021

This work was exhibited in the Museum of Wild and Newfangled Art NFT Show, which took place from February 1 through April 30, 2022. The show features artworks from the 174 artists that were exhibited in mowna's first year. Current international artists working in a wide range of artistic mediums. High quality artists and diverse artwork. Innovative new technologies, experimenting in the art and museum space, and paying artists for their work. While the future of NFTs is unclear, mowna acknowledges the NFT space as a new opportunity for art.
