This first piece of 'Dreamitization-Recess' created in year 2008 together with "Dreamitization-Repose"(NFT002) aimed to express the notion of "recess" when articulating my dream imago through using 3D CGI and put up an empty 3D scene with only lighting effects to convey the frame of mind. Dream imagery is a unique art of Symbolism and Expressionism to manifest one's state of mind. My objective was to express my transcendental dreams after an exhausted summer from work.
Series 1 -- 'Dreamitization' -- is a portmanteau blended "Dream" & "Digitization" to represent such art style. It's an experimental project conducted in 2008 using 3D CG software to create computer generated artworks under the name of AnStudio (www.anstudio.com). Series 2 -- 'OSMM' -- is an Open-Source MultiMedia project (artworks from public tutorials' sample outcome created on behalf of osmm.net, a social innovation community in Hong Kong, advocates to adapt using Free & Open-Source S/W for Digital Content Creation). These artworks are published under the name of OSMM's CG/思之.
