I created art out of the need to express the inner state in which I have been since the first day of the war. I did not want to focus on tears, fear, panic. Instead, she focused on her determination to move forward in spite of everything, consciously taking one last look at the burning evil. I painted it in my parents' house, in Kyiv, in the second week of the war, when my hands were no longer shaking and an understanding of the situation began to build in my head. So far, I haven't created anything for almost three years. The war, with its horror, pushed me out of a depressed state and made me think seriously about my future. Now, being in Kyiv, I try to be as present in life as possible. After all, it is absolutely not guaranteed and so fragile. Everyone has an innate right to it, so watching many souls take it away before it is born forces them to act faster, worse and more intensely. So we act. Even if it's "just art"
