WOVEN PORTALS is a collection of 100 Artworks that blend the infinite geometry of Persian rugs with Spaceship navigation interfaces. They are sometimes infused with engineering schematics and sprinkled with Arabic and Urdu Calligraphy. Each artwork is part hand-generated, part software-generated, a gentle collaboration between tradition and technology.
PRINTABILITY IS THE UTILITY. Each NFT comes with a private link to a PDF file of that artwork. Since these works are vector based, they can be printed at any size with no loss in quality. I give permission to the collector to print the artwork, and if they choose to sell their NFT, that print is theirs to keep and enjoy.
My art manipulates traditional patterns in Persian rugs and distorts their dimensions to find a deeper meaning.
