Picture taken from Gadsar Pass (4200 meters asl) Vishansar and Krishansar are high altitude alpine lakes situated in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, India at an altitude of 3710 meters asl. Both lakes are approximately 1 km apart and form the main source of kishanganga river. Dramatic alpine lakes lie between beautiful mountain peaks and lush green meadows.
