Kathy and Hobbes the Wonder Cat in San Cristobal, New Mexico on May 15, 2000, a little less than a year after we moved from Maryland. Two feet from her head to the right was a huge picture window that looked out on a wild meadow at ground level. We were so lucky to have the experience of living there. Elk, coyotes, bears, stray cattle in the front yard. San Cristobal was the real deal. 3000 x2250, 300 ppi.

New Mexico belongs to God and we just pass on through. As I once wrote, "The thing was though, they'd done it, the entire Taos murder trip, yet both of them were still together, healthy, and the love danced in her eyes." Kathy & I moved from Maryland to Taos County in 1999. The landing was a shock but we gave it all we had. New Mexico is never easy but stupendous. The story's in the photographs & their descriptions.
