Today I got to spend time actually INSIDE the kids school for parent/teacher conference. I can’t remember the last time I stepped foot in here! It always amazes me how different the kids act in public as opposed to home, but I should know that they’ve already learned how to grease Dad with a kiss to get what they want, or bend the rules a tad at home…and that doesn’t work at school! Montessori style schooling has been very beneficial for our family, the fact that they work on their own everyday at school transitions nicely at home when it’s playtime. I’m not forced to have to entertain them or keep them busy, they can entertain themselves. Although I am of the opinion that being bored every once in a while is a GOOD thing, it lets your mind wander and in this day and age of instant gratifications and screen time…it’s much needed.
“Diary of a Dad” is a candid daily snapshot of one family through the eyes of Dad. The collection aims to capture the challenges of raising 3 children under six years old, and the rewards of their unconditional love. For 150 days, 1 image is posted throughout Dad’s social media platforms and each image is a 1/1 NFT that is for purchase. 50% of the proceeds from “Diary of a Dad” will be donated to a Fatherhood focused charity that the group of collectors chooses.
Our journey begins on August 26th 2021 and ends on Jan 22nd 2022, for a collection of 150 moments in time.
