Ajani is a handsome fashionista African man who is blessed by his parents with iconic facial tribal marks known with the Owu tribe in Nigeria. Yes he is a modern day man, he modified the old fashion into the present day fashion. His head covered with an 'Abetiaja' cap which fuse with the modern day face cap. His lips covered with a shiny black lipstick which is an old traditional practice and his neck and ear adorned with a gold chain and gold earrings respectively.
Today I see old traditional and cultural beauty standards die. Instead of modifying them, people are now dropping them. This made me create this collection to show how a modern day African person might look like if these practices are still widely embraced. I hope this collection will motivates us to embrace our inner African self.
