狐博士にもらった本「Citizen」を一通り読んでみた部長でしたが、レコードの体を手に入れることができた秘密について、部長はよく理解することができませんでした。部長にとって、自分の体を別のものへ変化させることは、夢の中から物質を持って帰ることくらいに困難なことに思えました。
見た目が変化することで、中身が変化してしまうことはないのか？見た目の変化は、本当に心から望んだ結果なのか？部長には、狐博士に聞いてみたい質問が山ほどありました。最後に言葉を交わしたあの日、博士は「見た目だけで判断していた世界は、いつか終わりがくるだろう」…心地よい音色をバックにそれだけ言い残して、話すことも奏でることもやめました。
–「アイデンティティを取り戻せ」
狐博士が「Citizen」の中でたびたび走り書きをしていたこの言葉を、心の中で反芻する部長なのでした。

He read through the book "Citizen" given to him by Dr. Fox, but he could not quite understand the secret that allowed him to obtain a record body. To him, changing his body into something else seemed as difficult as bringing back a substance from a dream.
Couldn't a change in appearance change what was inside? Is the change in appearance really the result of a sincere desire? He had so many questions he wanted to ask Dr. Fox. On that day when we exchanged our last words, Dr. Fox said, "The world that was judged only by its appearance will come to an end someday..." ...He said this with a pleasant tone in the background and stopped speaking and playing.
