金曜日。その夜は、いつもより赤みがかかった月が出ていました。月を見た部長は、好きな音楽のことを思い出しているようです。それは、あるバンドの音楽で「若い頃によく聴いていた」とかではなくて、もっとずっと後になって知ったものでした。飲み会の二次会のカラオケにて、若い社員がお酒の酔いにまかせて、力一杯歌っていた曲で。「今の曲を作ったのは、どんなバンドなのかな？」と、その社員から、バンドのことについて、色々と教えてもらいました。それ以来、彼らが作った曲は全て聴き、バンドのギタリストが使っていたのと同じモデルのギターを購入するほど、ハマってきました。「G、Bm、G、A…だったかな」と、好きだった曲のコードについて、思いを巡らせる部長なのでした。

Friday. The moon was redder than usual that night. The manager of the department saw the moon and seemed to remember some of his favorite music. It was the music of a band, not something he "used to listen to a lot when I was young," but something he learned much later. It was a song that a young employee was singing with all his might at the karaoke after-party of a drinking party, intoxicated by the alcohol. I asked the employee, "What band wrote that song?" The employee told me a lot about the band. Since then, I have listened to every song they have written and have become so hooked that I bought the same model guitar that the band's guitarist used. I am a department head who thinks about the chords of the songs he liked, "G, Bm, G, A...was it?
