I have been creating in the round impressionistic images since 2012.

I walk around the subject to the extent possible taking pictures from different positions. The images are then merged, using an opacity blend which deconstructs the scene, reducing it to its essential elements.

Many of my in the round images are trees. Perhaps an influence from the Group of Seven and Emily Carr.

This limited edition image depicts an apple tree in full bloom. It was shot at Toronto's Queens Park Circle in 2017 and processed in 2022.
